BUTTERY TRADITIONAL SHORTBREAD COOKIES
Taro Brand pancake mixes make the perfect starter kit for all of your favorite cookies including these extra buttery, rich traditional short bread cookies. Our pancake mixes have the perfect amount to whip up a quick dozen in no time!
Ingredients:
6 ounce package Taro Brand Pancake Mix
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter, softened
pinch of salt
Heat oven to 325 degrees. In a bowl, combine sugar and softened butter. Add salt and 1 package of Taro Brand pancake mix. Mix well until a smooth dough is formed and all ingredients are incorporated well. Using a portion scoop, measure out 12 portions. Place dough onto cookie sheet and flatten slightly with a glass. Cook for about 12 minutes or until they are golden brown. Makes 1 dozen cookies.
